Thanks for booking with J. Mowry Photography! Here's how I work. By scheduling a shoot, you're agreeing to these simple terms.
1. The photos are yours to market the listing
- You can use the photos for anything related to marketing and selling (or renting) this property: MLS, Zillow, your website, social media, flyers, print.
- I keep the copyright, which is standard in real estate photography. The license is for you and this listing only. Please don't pass them to other agents, builders, stagers, or vendors without checking with me first.
- If a new agent or property manager takes over the listing, they're welcome to license the existing photos from me. Just reach out.
2. Portfolio
- I may show photos from the shoot on my website and social media. If there's anything you or the owner would rather I didn't share, just let me know within 5 business days and I'll leave it out.
3. Delivery & payment
- Edited photos are delivered by online gallery within 24–48 hours.
- Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice: Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, cash or check. Invoices more than 30 days past due may be charged 1.5% per month.
4. Scheduling & cancellations
- Plans change and deals fall through. Cancel or reschedule anytime before I leave for the shoot, free.
- Please have the home photo-ready (clean, lights on, clutter put away). If you cancel after I'm on my way, no one is there to let me in, or the home isn't ready, a flat $50 trip fee may apply.
- Drone shoots depend on weather and FAA rules. Weather reschedules are always free.
5. My promise to you
- If I cancel or can't make it, you owe nothing and get the next available date.
- If a photo is unusable because of my mistake, I'll reshoot or re-edit it free, or refund that part of the job.
- I'll treat the home with care and keep personal items and private info out of photos where I reasonably can.
6. The fine print
You're responsible for getting any needed permission for people, pets or third-party property that appear in the photos. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for that shoot, and I'm not liable for indirect losses such as a delayed sale. I'm an independent contractor. California law applies, Kern County.
